Dyanna G. Smith, 64, of San Diego, Calif., died Monday (April 14, 2014) of pancreatic cancer. She lived in Williamstown from 1978 to 1987, and was a registered dental hygienist in practices in Parkersburg and Belpre.
She was born in Montgomery, W.Va., and was a 1967 graduate of Hurricane High School, later West Virginia Tech's first class of dental hygienists.
Dyanna is survived by husband, Les Smith, son, Sean Clay, and grandson, Degan Clay, all of San Diego. Also, seven brothers and sisters and sister-in-law Susan Smith of Elizabeth.
A memorial celebration for Dyanna will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday (June 7, 2014) at First UMC in San Diego.
