Farm Safety Day at Barlow Fairgrounds
A Farm Safety Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 26 at the Barlow Fairgrounds by the Washington Soil and Water Conservation District. The event is free and open to the public but an RSVP is required. The day will include a mock farm accident rescue, several breakout informational sessions and safety demonstrations for farmers/landowners, emergency personnel and youth. Lunch will be provided.

Frontier BOE regular meeting Monday
The regular June Frontier Board of Education meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday in the Frontier High School library.
Church offers free lunch to community
The Beverly United Methodist Church will be sponsoring a free community lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The menu will be hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, watermelon, dessert and beverages. The church is at 700 Park St. in Beverly and is handicapped accessible. No reservations are required.

Antique tractor and engine show July 4
The Beverly Lions Club will hold its antique tractor and engine show starting at 9 a.m. July 4 behind Fort Frye High School. There will be food, homemade ice cream, a gas card raffle and a 50/50 drawing. A flag raising will take place at noon followed by a tractor parade at 1 p.m. There will also be a pancake breakfast at the Beverly Fire Department from 8 a.m. to noon. Fireworks will be at dark sponsored by the American Legion Post #389, Beverly Lions Club and others.
