The Country Kids 4-H club held their April meeting at The American Red Cross. Members practiced proper CPR techniques on adults and babies. At the May meeting Leanna Longfellow led the American pledge and Katie Haessly led the 4-H pledge.
The club is conducting a food drive during the next two meetings to donate to a local food pantry.
Demonstrations were given by Ally Haessly on market hogs, Leanna Longfellow on turkeys,and Alex Longfellow on chickens.
Members were reminded of the Quality Assurance meeting on June 7.
Churchtown Busy Bunch
The Churchtown Busy Bunch 4-H Club met June 1 at Marietta Civitan Park. The meeting was called to order by President Anna Strahler with 12 members present.
Ruslan Strahler led the American pledge and Isaiah Tullius lead the 4-H pledge.
Maggie Kroll read the secretary's report. The minutes were approved as read. Collin Bauerbach gave the treasurer's report.
A safety report was given by Christian Schwendeman titled "Tips for Exercising During Summer"; Brenner Schwendeman presented a health report on "Energy Drinks."
Under new business, Ethan Brooker made a motion to participate in the Trash Can Contest. Collin Bauerbach seconded the motion. Trash Can committee members will be all boys in the club and the fair booth committee will be the girls.

As a family activity the club members, family and friends visited the Marietta College Planetarium for a private show.
Ruslan Strahler made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Collin Bauerbach seconded the motion.
Members enjoyed pizza and playing football for recreation.
