Crosspoint at Twin Rivers

June 28, 2014
Marietta Times
CrossPoint String Band, a family bluegrass gospel group from Shelbyville, Tenn., will be special guests Sunday, June 29, at Twin Rivers Baptist Church, 110 D.A.V. Road, Whipple, for the church’s annual Independence Day picnic.
The group, which has presented bluegrass gospel music across the country for more than a decade, presents a combination of acoustic music with vocals and harmony.
Services on Sunday will be Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m., followed immediately by a meal and then an afternoon service. The group will be playing and singing for all of that day’s services.
There will be no evening service Sunday because of the special afternoon service.
Jeff Baumer is pastor of Twin Rivers Baptist Church, which is on D.A.V. Road, off Ohio 821, just 300 yards north of Exit 6 off Interstate 77.
