Right Path, Marietta College host event
The Right Path for Washington County and Marietta College are hosting a Town Hall meeting from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Rickey Science Building, Selby Room 150. The Ohio Investigative Unit's Michelle Anderson will conduct a server training for all area liquor establishments and convenience stores. In addition, Chief Deputy Mark Warden of the Washington County Sheriff's Office will lead a discussion on opiates and heroin in the area. Refreshments will be available.

Crawford family reunion in Beverly
The descendants of Thomas James and Eldora Marie Crawford will hold their 63rd Family reunion on July 12 at the home of Dawn and Jerry Close, located on the Muskingum River in Beverly. For information and/or directions call 984-2947.
Belpre alumni to have ice cream social
The Belpre High School Alumni Association will hold its annual ice cream social from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 12 at Howe's Grove Park and the Belpre Senior Center. There will be entertainment and food for purchase, including hot dogs, pie and ice cream. All proceeds go toward scholarships.
'Life on Refuge' program for youth
The Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge will hold a "Life on the Refuge" program for children ages 5-14 at 1 p.m. July 12. Learn where animals live, what they eat and how they survive. This program includes a hike, games and a craft. The program will be held at the Visitor Center located at 3982 Waverly Road in Williamstown. Closed toe shoes are strongly recommended. The program is free and approximately two hours long. This is a family activity and parents or guardians are required to be present. Immunization clinic will be open later
The Marietta City Health Department, 304 Putnam St., will extend its hours for the immunization clinic until 6:30 p.m. Monday. No appointment is necessary. All adult and child immunizations are offered, including school immunizations required for entry into kindergarten and seventh grade. The Ohio Medical Card and most insurance is accepted, or there is a $10 fee per shot. No one is turned away due to inability to pay.
