Washington State Community College (WSCC) is making preparations for a Special Registration Week which runs from July 21 to 25. Amanda Herb, MBA, vice president of enrollment and student success at WSCC, stresses the importance of registering before August; "Many people aren't aware of the time that it takes to complete the enrollment process." It's imperative for continuing students to stay on track for completion. This week is the perfect time for adult and continuing students to come in and register for classes. The staff and faculty will be on hand throughout the week to advise and assist students with scheduling and registration questions. Bradley Ebersole, WSCC president, in a recent call to current WSCC students who have not registered for fall semester, challenged them to "agree to complete!" WSCC invites the community to visit and tour the campus, enjoy hot dogs, popcorn, games, and fun family events during the week. Take part in the WSCC "Selfie Photo Contest" on campus and win a prize. If you are looking for a fun way to exercise, meet new people, and earn college credit, then stop by to learn more about WSCC's recreational courses such as zumba, strength training, karate, and cardio-kickboxing.
