Tad Joseph Goddard, 28, of 512 Sixth St., was arrested at headquarters Thursday for two counts of assault for an incident that happened in the 100 block of Front Street on July 12. Goddard was released on a personal recognizance bond.
Three 12-year-old males and a 14-year-old male were arrested at 5:34 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block Seventh Street for theft and criminal damaging. When arrested, the boys were standing in front of several piles of coins, dollars, jewelry and knives. The boys admitted to stealing from cars "all over Marietta." All of the boys reside in Marietta and will be summoned into Juvenile Court.
Julie A. Reynolds, 51, of 231 Faye Ave., was arrested Friday at Walmart for theft and released on a personal recognizance bond.
Angela R. Coleman, 38, of 460 Shaffer Road, Waterford, reported Wednesday that a day earlier she discovered her recently-filled prescription for Xanax was missing. Shaffer was unsure if the pills were simply misplaced or if an acquaintance possibly stole them.
The Oak Grove Fire Department transported a 13-month-old Marietta resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital Wednesday for treatment to a possible head injury. The toddler fell from atop a slide at Ashland RV Park and landed on her stomach, striking her head on the ground in the process. Emergency room personnel said the toddler did not have any signs of a serious head injury and that she will fully recover.
A deputy arrested Alice J. Keeler, 50, of Marietta, for criminal trespassing on Wednesday. Despite being told on multiple occasions she was not welcome at a vacant residence in New Matamoras, Keeler was seen inside the home during the past several days.
An employee of B&N Coal reported on Thursday that sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) stole a Honda water pump and 100 feet of discharge hose from a mine site on Back Road in Aurelius Township. The company declined to pursue the matter further.
John D. O'Brien, 59, of 1195 Sandhill Road, Marietta, reported Thursday he believes his stepdaughter and her husband stole five or six large bags of aluminum cans from his garage.

Ruby Fay Reneau, 44, of 715 Barclay St. Lot 15, Belpre, was arrested Thursday for domestic violence, a felony.
Aaron Robert Fulton, 28, of 834 Pike St. Apt. 8, Marietta, was arrested Friday for failure to appear, a misdemeanor.
