Offenberger & White, Inc., a Marietta-based marketing company, will conduct two workshops on branding and social media best practices for the biotechnology industry at the Ohio Bioscience Expo & Showcase on Aug. 5.
The conference, sponsored by BioOhio, will be held at the Bertram Inn & Conference Center in Aurora, Ohio, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The two workshops, titled Brand Science 101 and Social Science 101, are uniquely tailored for marketers supporting technology products and services where consultative sales and education are critical to the purchase decision process.
According to OffWhite CEO Bill White, the workshops are targeted to venture capitalists, CEOs, product managers, and sales and marketing executives who must accurately establish, manage and maintain information pathways.
White adds, "Branding and social media are at the forefront of an exciting and highly responsive marketing landscape, yet these tools are effective only when proper information architecture and deployment are managed. At the workshops, we will share cases on how we've helped companies achieve these goals and why we continue to stress integration across all digital marketing platforms."
The objective of both workshops is to articulate the core components of branding and social media strategies in context with the life science industry, and to offer ideas on how technology companies can insert these components in their overall business plan without spending the same money twice.
