Boil water advisory for some customers
The Belpre Public Works Department has announced a boil water advisory for all water customers on upper Ohio 7 north of the Belpre city limits and customers in the 600-1000 blocks of Florence Street and Main Street until 5:30 p.m. Friday. Repair of a water leak required that certain hydrants be opened, resulting in the main water line being depressurized in this area. Customers on First Lane, Joe Skinner Road, Camelot Mobile Home Park, Ayers Boulevard and north to the end of the water main at EnviroTank Clean will be affected. The city has also been forced to close additional valves at Sixth Street and Florence Street which has lowered the pressure on water lines serving customers north of the 600-1000 blocks of Florence Street and Main Street below minimum standards.
