"Union fat-cats...myth or reality?"

So...you think labor unions are run by cigar chomping "Union Fat Cats", who receive outrageous salaries and benefits, while living a life of luxury comparable to Saudi Arabian Princes, lording their unrestrained power over the entire United States of America... all on the backs of the union-enslaved workers they represent. Here's your chance to prove it.

I am sure the harassment and attempted intimidation was not isolated to any one party

i feel certain that the Feds would be called in.

well that's comforting...

OWO...should that occur, i feel certain that the Feds would be called in. i would hope that the local politicians and law enforcement understand that their actions are being scrutinized 24/7 and act accordingly.

Ohwiseone

Well when the harassment comes in part from local law then just what will get accomplished ?

OWO...the reps can always press charges if it is indeed a crime for a homeowner to request someone to leave at gun point. if it is a crime then let the courts decide. don't you agree?

Ohwiseone

They however don't have the right to brandish weapons and threaten people !So much for your goon bullsh&t !

OWO... i mentioned the story about the reps being told at gunpoint to leave the homeowners property. it was the homeowners property...they have the right within the law to determine who can enter their property and moreso when it is time for visitors, invited or not, to leave. i think part truth and part excuse for why there is not enough support at this time for the union.

"We've determined now is not the right time for an election," said Mike Evans, lead organizer for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. "An atmosphere of threats, harassment and unprecedented political interference has intimidated workers to the point we don't believe a free and fair election is possible."

They decertified the IAM 2009 kicked their butts to the curb, I'd say they have a really good idea of what it's about

The site in SC was in addition to the site in Washington ! Just a matter of time till those workers in SC start wondering why they don't get the pay and benefits their fellow employees in Washington do !

Stillhere

And as they shift production to the SC sites those washinginton folks may be on the unemployment line quite soon
