Now why is it that we hear nothing from wrongriki on the outrageous compensation CEO's and other upper officers are making ?? A union is like a business and has a chain of command ! The president s are paid well for their services but nothing like the CEO of even a small company ! Now why is it Ok to make millions thereby affecting how employees are treated and yet making a salary representing sometimes millions of members is wrong ? we are ohio.co m

There are officers of a international union who are responsible for thousands of members ,and by the very nature of the job are required to have high degrees to deal with company lawyers ! Although it varies based on sector and occupation, the overall averages are striking.

$917 = Median weekly earnings in 2010 of union members.

$717 = Median weekly earnings in 2010 of non-union workers.

That's a yearly difference in salary of $10,400 for union members vs. non-union members.

Union members earn an average of $4.95 more per hour - which equates to a yearly difference of $10,300. (we are ohio.co m)
