"Union fat-cats...myth or reality?"

So...you think labor unions are run by cigar chomping "Union Fat Cats", who receive outrageous salaries and benefits, while living a life of luxury comparable to Saudi Arabian Princes, lording their unrestrained power over the entire United States of America... all on the backs of the union-enslaved workers they represent. Here's your chance to prove it.

naturally i did not post the entire article but it is not something scoff at. it is the future and something that we should all be keenly aware of. perhaps one day the pension you receive or your retirement benefit will require micro-chipping. you may even see it in your lifetime...which i hope is a long time for you even though you can be as antagonizing as i.

from the same article.

When I tested my chip, I found that it was not all that intuitive - I had to twist my hand into an unnatural position to make the photocopier work. And while some of the people around the building were looking forward to being chipped, others were distinctly dubious. "Absolutely not," said one young man when I asked him if he'd sign up. An older woman was more positive about the potential of the technology but saw little point in being chipped just to get through a door.

But Hannes Sjoblad says he and the Swedish Biohacking Group have another objective - preparing us all for the day when others want to chip us. "We want to be able to understand this technology before big corporates and big government come to us and say everyone should get chipped - the tax authority chip, the Google or Facebook chip." Then, he says, we'll all be able to question the way the technology is implemented from a position of much greater knowledge.

OWO.....from the BBC: Want to gain entry to your office, get on a bus, or perhaps buy a sandwich? We're all getting used to swiping a card to do all these things. But at Epicenter, a new hi-tech office block in Sweden, they are trying a different approach - a chip under the skin.

moderation...did you happen to read about a company in sweden that is implanting their employees with pet-like chips in order for them to access the facilities as well as computers, phones,copiers...etc....it is a stunning and thought provoking glimpse of the future.

Ohwiseone

Yeah that stale ole George Soros stuff , well you had to make friends with the devil if you want to get in ! I'll counter with the Koch brothers and their ultra conservative views ! Might as well say puritans ! What was telling was fahrenheit 911(although I know that no self respecting republican would ever see) that had Dubya at a fund raiser kissing the collective keisters of his "have lots mores" and the for sale sign on the government that the republiduds republiduds put up !

OWO...the tide will change as we will have a new president in a couple of years. i am hopeful and fairly certain that they will have their own agenda. in that i am certain. i hope you will be wise enough to admit that unless it is Obama's solution it will not be passed. a little exercise for you OWO, compile a short list of wealthy democratic benefactors that control the democratic party...let me start you out with one....he's a biggie...George Soros. feel free to stumble upon any more that you wish to find. your laser focus of political savvy should surely make this exercise a cake-walk. speaking of cake....

Ohwiseone

Ah but youre so sure that the "tide will change" ! Yeah , but it just might change but not the way you want ! If there are any solutions instead of obstruction from the republiduds then put them on the table where everyone can see or maybe does the thought of your republiduds protecting their wealthy benefactors seem a little unsavory ?

Ohwiseone

How utterly typical of the tiredbrain troll using the tried and true republidud tactic of labeling then demonizing ! Well I'm afraid your wrong again , me and a whole lot of others have gone through life EARNING what we have !So you can take that "hand out" bullsh^t and put it with your republidud talking points in a place where the sun don't shine ! Now how about those solutions ???

in addition....the solution to many problems lie in the simplicity of not allowing the problem to exist in the first place. while many problems occur without notice, many are preventable and it is this fact that puts us in the positions that we currently find ourselves in. prevention is the key.

nascarnut...would you expend too much energy in crafting a bill that will be heartily rejected by the stroke of a pen or bide your time until the tide changes and a favorable opportunity presents itself? the biggest problem in government right now is governement itself. in many ways the United States seems to have forgotten who she is and what she actually represents. that begins and ends with the CEO of the The United States as he (at the moment) decides the path in which she travels. while Mrs. Obama can finally be proud, i can say that i have never be more disappointed. the President has not IMO been a stellar representative for its people. we are an exceptionable nation that is full of charitable and caring people. if we were not the hopeful beacon in this world, then why would so many risk their lives just to reach our shores. could the answer to that question simply be Obamacare and free money???? at this point in time...you betcha!
