"Union fat-cats...myth or reality?"

So...you think labor unions are run by cigar chomping "Union Fat Cats", who receive outrageous salaries and benefits, while living a life of luxury comparable to Saudi Arabian Princes, lording their unrestrained power over the entire United States of America... all on the backs of the union-enslaved workers they represent. stillhere..i wash the towels and sheets at the local oriental massage parlor as well as empty the trash cans at the local truck stop on week-ends. definately not nearly as technical as what you fellas did.

I worked in a alloy plant as a operating engineer . But spent time in the furnace rooms where we handled molten alloys .I also spent time as a pipe fitter before arriving at the job I retired on !

thank you for sharing...although i was asking OWO...i should be more specific in the future. i am familiar with the machinist trade but am not as much with millwright right off the top of my head.

I was a machinist and millwright in a former career, not particularly hot except in the foundry portion of the plant, pretty hot there.

personally i am more interested in your former profession. what exactly did your job entail? btw...i am not setting you up for a slam or anything like that. i am just interested. i know you said something about working with metal and it being extremely hot...is that correct?
