Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

asknot, what should the penalty be for government witholding the requested information simply because it would be too burdensome for them to comply? i agree that the requestor should be required to pay for the reproduction, but i do understand that the person intended to "scam" them out of the money. but instead i think it also showed that the government, other than national security, should be able to deny public information requests. it is the price of freedom...is it not?

asknot, with the advancement of technology, every document should be available in digital form and accessable as required by the freedom of information act. while i am certain that the person requested the information just to be a nuisance, i think it was well within their rights. the freedom of information act does not, to my knowledge, require you to justify why you request it or even how you will use the requested information. i hope you will agree with that sentiment.

asknot, it has gotten to the point where it is almost not worth it to have to deal with the public with any transaction. that lawsuit is the type of lunacy that makes my head explode. logic nor sanity has found a home in those type of people. while i admit there are justifiable lawsuits as well as deserved restitution, many are of the frivilous and "get a grip on life" wastes of valuable time. the problem with most that bring on the lawsuits is that they have zero tangible assets should there be a penalty for wasting the courts time. it is really a no win for everyone concerned. i can get that man a whole case of napkins if he would just come to his senses and stop being a jacka&&.

upon reading the following we should ponder the question of why do we have children, the balance of rights and reasonable expectations: "A New Jersey teenager (age 18) claiming her mother and father tossed her out of their home and cut her off financially is suing them for immediate support, current private-school fees and future college tuition. The parents, meanwhile, say that daughter Rachel Canning, 18, moved out voluntarily after refusing to abide by their rules."

asknot, no... i do not write for The Onion. i did not know it existed until you mentioned it. tiredofit...thank you for the compliment. i have often thought about submitting written satire to appropriate outlets. it seems like something i might enjoy..that is as long as it does not turn into work! so, has anyone other than myself noticed how peaceful the world is at the moment...no transgressions, no fears of financial collapse, no dictorial oppression of people, and no de-fanging of America...boy Obama really did unify the world and make it a safer place. it is good to see our leadership taking the time to make an exercise video while the world crumbles. we must remember to stay fit...if we can then at least one Obama family member can be successful in something...that Obama would be Michelle. i think right about now i can hear the tool of the engraver replacing Baracks name on the nobel peace prize and replacing it with hers!

AP reports: "The Justice Department says Attorney General Eric Holder has been taken to the hospital as a precaution after experiencing faintness and shortness of breath at work." prior to the call, a big su cking sound was heard coming from his office. a lengthy delay ensued as hospital workers feverously tried to verify coverage under tha A.C.A. using the new and improved website. the attempt proved to be unsuccessful. it was determined that he would be treated under the old "indigent clause" that the hospital had in place prior to any anticipated exemption from the president. the president sent well wishes and a spare pair of hillary's glasses should he have suffered the same maladies from her fainting spell. the prersident also stated that with the unemployment situation, there were be no difficulty finding a replacement. I'd be glad to stand on the dock and wave bye-bye to Piers, anytime he'd decide to sail back to the motherland.

moderation...there are some limitations...but to me the real deterrent is the cost to get it re-skinned.

BobB...i should have told you earlier that i was just yanking your chain. i thought it odd that you consider there to be a "right sort of person". that can be taken in so many different ways. i wanted to wait a bit to see what your reaction would be. yet again your 'republiphobe" nature came shining through.
