Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

Kunec,as I don't know you personally,I only have your shared words to attempt to define your positions on any given topic. And my interpretation, from those words, suggests you support black power.

I interoperate your cynicism, mod but, as I don't know you, I can't tell whether it's intended for me or the masses that don't associate cause with effect.

It would seem the gasoline/lead association legislation was a bit late, kunec.

BTW - Do you all know that we can thank our 'environmentalist friends' for the deaths of the seven astronauts aboard SS Columbia? You see, some of them b-itched about the chemical production of the foam insulation covering the external fuel tank. The manufacturer of that foam insulation altered it's chemical formulation and a piece of the new 'recipe' separated and struck Columbia upon liftoff. THAT type of unnecessary crap is also what will get by shutting down our coal-fired power plants to appease IDIOTS.

BeRight - AMEN, Brother! They want to drive the cost of electricity higher to substantiate their designs to shove solar/wind generated power down our throats. EVERYTHING will go up in price because of the turning-away from coal-fired power plants. It's been a H-ell of a ride America, but it's just about to come to an end. THANKS, OBAMA

This should help all those on fixed incomes in the USA:

Electricity prices are probably on their way up across much of the U.S. as coal-fired plants, the dominant source of cheap power, shut down in response to environmental regulations and economic forces.

The Energy Department predicts retail power prices will rise 4 percent on average this year, the biggest jump since 2008. By 2020, prices are expected to climb an additional 13 percent, a forecast that does not include the costs of coming environmental rules.

WOW! NEVER SAW THAT ONE COMING! lol

$37 billion? That would cover just the increase in our national debt for the next 16 days, without paying down any of the existing 17+ trillion. I'm calling China to laugh about our next 1/2 month of financial independence. LOL

Try this one on:

Something could be missing from your next electric bill: a fee that electric customers have been paying for 31 years to fund a federal nuclear waste site that doesn't exist.

The Energy Department will stop charging the fee by court order on Friday. The amount is only a small percentage of most customers' bills, but it adds up to $750 million a year. The fund now holds $37 billion.

Why must they?

I never said that the Dems never benefit from it, perhaps they did. But perhaps the Republicans did as well. We simply do not know and it goes back to my premise that there is no evidence of any fraud that got a Democrat elected.

Regarless of political bias, fraud and any prejudice against voters should be dealt with. We did it in the South when idiots tried to create tests to vote in elections, so there is no reason we shouldn't stop fraud now.

"the Senate would not vote on a guilty verdict anyway. At least not at present."

I agree, the Senate wouldn't proceed. I don't even think a Republican Senate would proceed.

"Likewise the dems are trying to allow fraud that puts them in power or encourage a constituancy that votes only for them."

At least in regards to Federal elections (President, Congress..etc), there is no evidence of any fraud that got a Democrat elected.

When I last renewed my DL, I waited the additional two weeks and got the US approved version. Don't fly too much anymore, but wanted to be able to without additional hassle. As far as impeachable it may be a misdemeanor charge and that is also on the list. There only has to be witnesses willing to testify to bring the charge. No matter, the Senate would not vote on a guilty verdict anyway. At least not at present.

On the topic of a National ID, there should be no problem in having this. My only desire is that it is considered something that must be excepted anywhere in the US as a valid ID. Meaning, if you are renewing your driver's license...the National ID would count as a form of recognizable ID.

"Obama presides over the cover up of the murder of four Americans"

Obama and his administration has never denied that the four men were killed or that they were killed by Muslims. So there is no cover up in that regard.

The only issue is whether they purposely sent bad info out on the specific why those men died. Is that an impeachable offense? Doubtful because it's not treason, bribery or a high crime as described by the Constitution.

I guess you are conceding that the fraudulent voting issue doesn't really have supportive evidence? The fraud, is saying that there is significant voter fraud, when in fact, there is not. And,voting is not something that should be restricted by a budget on a diet.Ample funding for polling locations and staffing should come before tax cuts.

Posted 169 days ago.

BeRight

I think the early voting hours should be every day, but not the 8-5 BS. If we are trying to keep cost down for election boards I think the hours should be maybe 12-8 everyday for early voting or 5am to 1:00 pm in order to allow people to vote without taking off work. People can also vote absentee any time by mail.

I just think you need to identify yourself.

No,beright. What drives this issue is the inference of a voter fraud problem.Closing, reducing polling locations serves what purpose? Limiting or lowering voting hours from established norms serves ' whose ' purposes? What is the rush to fix a problem that doesn't exist?
