Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

NCN...that is what i am hoping he will eventually do. i, like you, would wish that everyone would be true to their word. so we both can keep our eyes on "all" of the hopefuls or even pretenders, if you will. fair enough?

the key word that i see and you fail to overlook is "unsolicited

I didn't fail to overlook it, I read it...he's made it a point over and over he'll pay his own way...maybe he should donate the money he accepted to a charity of his choice eh...

NCN...it will be interesting see how those unsolicited donations are handled by his campaign. i think the selling of campaign related products for profit gets a pass...don't you?

as posted in THE HILL: "The Trump campaign press release boasted on Thursday: "Mr. Trump is self-funding his campaign; however there were 73,942 unsolicited donations during this time period with an average contribution of $50.46."

the key word that i see and you fail to overlook is "unsolicited". the campaign had to account for the handling off the money. it is on the books and public. since the books on this campaign are still open, it leaves the opportunity for a potential charitable reimbursement that has yet to be revealed...or he can keep it. just like the money generating machines that are the Clinton and Snaders campaigns, until the books are settled, all donations are in flux...moreso with the current stable of personal financials to cover the potential losses a costly ca

in donations which are voluntary and reportedly small in nature. it will be interesting to see how his campaign unfolds. considering that he is a strategic man, it would be wise to bet that he is closely monitoring his own personal investment risk. if he is this anal with his own, think of how bullish with the world he will be with yours.

YAHOO NEWS TOADY:

The Republican front-runner filed his quarterly campaign finance report Wednesday evening, and it is filled with eye-popping details.

For example, he spent more than $500,000 just on hats and related apparel.

Trucker-style hats bearing Trump's campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again," became a hit fashion accessory over the summer. To purchase the hats, people had fork over $25 or $30 to Trump's presidential bid.

But even more striking, Trump received almost $4 million in what his campaign called "unsolicited donations."

Trump frequently brags on the campaign trail that he is self-funding his operation. But after putting in $1.8 million of his own money to jump-start his bid, he gave just over $100,000 to his campaign in the past three months. The bulk of his recent spending came from donations, much of which were relatively small."

The Donald is showing his business prowness. generating income by investing his own capital. taking i

in addition...a very dear friend from waaaaaay down south worked for a time at a state-run mental hospital. the conditions were deplorable just based on the "Horror-Story" themed contortions of the human mine gone astray. hamdling as well as protecting these misfortuned people is a challenge from the get-go....now the ACLU which rightfully so should be involved in ascertaining the limits at which peoples rights are being potentially adversely affected. anyway...i'll hush for now and let you get on with responding if you wish. i am actually putting off a few chores i am not too eager to jump on.

NCN...i totally agree with the misuse and pork spending. however, your answered teetered between history and political blame-game. the mentally are under-served in our society. the stcking point seems to be balancing one's freedom to be just sane enough to borderline exist or stay under the radar with a dibiliatating mental illness. there is not a blanket answer with the "distasteful" identification and quasi-quaratine to protet not only the patients but the general populace which have a manageable level of mental disease. something we all have. most just haven't bothered to have it professionally diagnosed.

deinstituitionalization didn't help... i understand that reagan and his compatriots didn't kick people out of institutions, but they did (and continue to) keep them from getting the services they need in the community...they're still cutting today - medicaid is a major source of support for the MH and MR disabled, and the congress that can find money to fund a half-billion dollar bridge in Alaska that will serve a few dozen cars a day is also busy cutting medicaid...why is that??...

NCN...i was not being specific to your post. i was posing the question to you in regards to addressing the mentally incompetent from obtaining firearms while not allowing any more restraints on the rights of the current leagal gun owners. the mentally ill are not just a danger only in the rare instances that they obtain a firearm, but also when allowed access to any item in the general populace from knives to machetes to common items such as bricks or glass bottles. i think that there should be a separation in order to protect all involved. i was interested in your thoughts on the matter.

the guy in the millwaukee shooting wasn't mentally ill, just a criminal who got a gun from a shop that doesn't follow the laws...
