Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

I can't believe the dealers did not know something was wrong. You can't tell me a good mechanic can't tell if there is too much c r a p coming out the tail pipe.

I bet this goes down the VW food chain further than anyone could imagine.

says they set aside 7.3 billion for when they got caught...planning ahead I guess...also said it wasn't just in the US so they'll most likely need a gov bailout, not sure 7B will cover it...

Beright...i hate that for them as the germans have built a fine reputation over the years. it will bring extra scrutiny to the industry, which in the long run may not be a bad thing overall. it may give you a chance to actually purchase what they advertise.

OWO....i never said that shrinking glaciers did not concern me. i stated that 11 million vehicles with understated emission reports has now been shown to be a previously unknown contributer to our current situation of increased greenhouse gases. there is no need to get snippy. from what i read on cnn money, there will be appropriate corrective actions taken....immediately.

Beright....there's your ice-killing global warming source right there. 11 million diesel vehicles of how many percent in their reported emissions test results???? in addition, i wonder how many cubic yards of ice activists unwittingly melted.

beright-the difference is we benefit from those temporary jobs you listed when they are finished...I see no benefit for US when the pipeline is finished...

Martin Shkreli, the controversial pharmaceutical CEO and former hedge fund manager, announced that he would reduce the price of the drug Daraprim to “a point that is more affordable.” Shkreli has been the subject of unrelenting criticism since he implemented a 5000% increase in the price of the drug — from $13.50 per pill to $750 — which is used to treat severe infections in AIDS patients and infants.

Shkreli, who talked to ABC News, declined to name the new price for the medicine, which has been on the market for 60 years. ABC described Shkreli as “the most hated man in America.”

NasCarNut: All constructions "jobs" are temporary. With that logic we should stop building roads, repairing bridges and stop building houses because once that bridge or road is built, those people are out of work.

There is an interesting topic in the USA Today about The Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLB Act), also known as the Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999, repealed part of the Glass–Steagall Act (GS Act) of 1933. Bill Clinton signed it and that helped contribute to the financial collapse in 2007.

why don't the canadians build a pipeline to ship in the northwest...leave US out of it...not our oil, not our companies...who profits??...

Posted 138 days ago.

NasCarNut

what they should be telling you that the contracts for building this pipeline are as follows: montana; 4,000 jobs for 19 weeks; south dakota 3,500 jobs for 20 weeks; nebraska 2,700 jobs for 19.5 weeks and kansas 200 jobs for 33 weeks...none of these jobs are for more than 6 months except the 200 in kansas for 9 months...
