Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

Two Tennessee teenagers have died from consuming a new drink known as “Dewshine” in Robertson County Tennessee. Two other teenagers were treated and released from two different emergency departments. Officials said they drank a mixture of Mountain Dew and racing fuel last week. WTF?

NCN....simply raising the PH of the water by adding alkalinity should have taken care of the corrosiveness of the water. if the problem happens to be the plumbing...then it must be replaced. should these homes have unigue situations whereby normal treatment at the plant doesn't do it, then the homeowner would be repsonsible for installing systems at the P-O-E to address the issue. either way falsifying data is a big-time NO-NO in water treatment.

yes NCN..that is what i was talking about. most of the TV outlets referred to him as a Superintendent. either way, chances are they either did not feed the correct amount of corrosion inhibitor or simply did not feed any at all. you are correct though....somebody messed up big time.

State regulators said they believe the contamination was triggered by water that for some reason had become too corrosive and caused lead pipes leading into homes to leach heavy metal into the drinking water. Regulators asked the water plant to treat the water to reduce its corrosiveness.

maybe they cut back on treating the water to save money, big NO NO...

Village Manager Richard Giroux maintained on Tuesday that he was not aware of the elevated lead results until last week. But a letter released by the Ohio EPA showed that he was told in December.

it appears someone is not being truthful...

Plant manager James Bates denied he falsified reports, calling the allegations an "outright lie."

Documents obtained by The Associated Press show that the state EPA accused Bates in 2009 of repeatedly violating state rules over the previous several years and operating the plant in a manner that endangered public health. The records, unrelated to the recent lead testing, say he attempted to ignore poor water readings and submitted misleading, inaccurate or false reports.

abs, this must be what you were refering to...
