Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

Nap time in between

That's the best part about racing!!...

BeRight

A three hour race on TV normally provide me with at least a 2 hour nap.

First 1/2 hour and last 1/2 hour. Nap time in between.

Absolem, yep team drivers are part of the problem as is the soap opera (Danica anyone) They are trying to appeal to a larger audience as expected but they are leaving behind the core of the fan base.

Beright, I back in the day I saw an ambulance drive over turn 3 to the infield, a truck a had stopped at the bottom, the ambulance slid all the way down the track brakes locked, yep its steep

BeRight

I actually had a chance to walk on the banked track at Bristol.

It is a lot steeper than it looks on television.

Stillhere...i think the reasons for the decline have many facets at work. to the loyal fan, the feeling of betrayal in the offbeat chance stock car racing had become scripted is one that i sense on a personal level. when multi-car teams replaced the owner/driver, it offered too convenient of an opportunity to skew the results of the race. i have actually shifted over to superbike racing. that is an art form unto itself.

It was pretty much Beer, Oil or tobacco that ran the sport, an argument could be made that its better that we don't advertise those things to the young but take a look at football, its BUDLIGHT all day and night. I knew the writing was on the wall when Waltrip had TIDE as a sponser.

I recall going to Bristol as a 15 yr old boy and one could see cows grazing over the walls in turns 3 and 4. Just a front grandstand and people sitting on a hill on the back. Those were the days when one could tell a Monte Carlo from a Thunderbird from the backstretch. Sadly the sport has been ruined.

Who really cares about NASCAR racing these days, its I decline for a good reason. Its IROC now as there is NOTHING STOCK about those cars and hasn't been for many years.
