Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

"Mylan has worked to help patients with commercial insurance pay as little as $0 for EpiPen Auto-Injector using the My EpiPen Savings Card. In 2015, this resulted in nearly 80% of these patients paying nothing out of pocket for their EpiPen Auto-Injector. However, as the health insurance environment has evolved, driven by the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, patients and families enrolled in high deductible health insurance plans, who are uninsured, or who pay cash at the pharmacy, have faced higher costs for their medicine."

Or , there are alternatives !

The people that would have to pay the full $600 are in the High Deductible Plans. That would be a typical Obamacare Plan.

I did watch a couple of the interviews with the her. She made a few good points. When the consumer pays $600, at least four other entities have made a profit beside Mylan. Mylan is not getting the $600 but much less (still too much but not $600). The other point she tried to make was that many consumers have been forced into higher deductible plans meaning in their old plans by the time the kids go back to school they have made their deductibles. Not sure if something prescribed falls into a deductible category so that could be BS based on my plan. My prescriptions from Express Scripts are the same whether I met my medical deductible or not. That one might be a red herring.

Always amused at those that claim they cannot afford medicine with a 200 dollar a month cell phone etc.

I say it is a cold blooded effort to enhance ones' portfolio at the expense of many.....I have purchased several pairs ( how they are prescribed/sold) to protect against any unforeseen circumstances arising from my few hives. It is suggested they be replaced every year, which could have become a costly proposition for many parents
