Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

"The Democrats -- one of their big issues is they've concocted this, 'Republicans are committing a war on women,'" Kentucky Republican said on NBC's "Meet The Press." "One of the work place laws and rules that I think are good is that bosses shouldn't prey on young interns in their office. I think really the media seems to have given President Clinton a pass on this. He took advantage of a girl that was 20-years-old and an intern in his office. There is no excuse for that and that is predatory behavior."

I had intended on buying a Fender Mustang from CA House in Zville but upon arrival, they had a significant closeout on the Vypyr, so I got it.

misnamed product of the day "Smarties": The candy “Smarties” may be a tasty treat, but many schools are warning parents about a new trend that involves students snorting them. Some effects include nasal scarring, infection, lung irritation, allergic reaction or possible maggots." mmmm yummy goodness. i knew "pixie sticks" powdered candy would be a "gateway" drug.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo believes that pro-life activists along with anti-gay activists, and supporters of the Second Amendment, are not welcome in his state. During a radio interview on Friday, Cuomo pointed out that Republicans were in the midst of a schism, where conservatives worked against moderate Republicans. "Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves," he said. "Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are."

thegreek, thank you and it sounds like you have a pretty neat set-up yourself. i have been playing for about 36 years myself and am nowhere near where i would love to be. i mainly play for my enjoyment and like you play by ear. my wife enjoys using the tabs she finds online for her favorite songs. we all play in our family. anyway i guess we had better get back to the forum topic. nice chatting with you about this.

You have a very nice set up. I just have a Fender Strat, one of the cheapies and a Peavey Strat. I also have an older Roland Cube 30. I am a part time noise maker in the basement. Been playing for 40 years. Have a pretty good ear for a note but need to take some lessons. Shiftwork and raising kids has hampered that.

thegreek, i see. your Vypyr seems to be a neat set-up from what i have just read on the peavey website. the new modeling amps are pretty neat especially with the interfaces. it is the wave of the future. as you may or may not know...i am forever stuck in the classic tube amp set-up with analog pedals...correction one digital delay pedal...a digitech. i have a 1970 fender silver-face champ that i run a mid-eighties rat distortion pedal with. the larger set-up is an 1987 Mesa-Boogie 50-Cal running into an 80's Marshall Silver Jubilee 4-12 Cabinet loaded with vintage 60-watt Celestions. i use the digital delay chained with an ibanez flanger, and a mid-eighties Jim Dunlop Wah-Pedal. there is really no need for any compression. i have built-in reverb on the Mesa head and i use an early seventies Fender tube reverb unit for the Fender Champ. so what guitar(s) are you using with your Vypyr?

I have tried to duplicate Bucketheads sound. It is tough. Usually I can come semi close on some riffs but his sound is electronically altered in a way I cant get out of my VYPYR.

I will check that out LTS. He was trained by Paul Gilbert. and he is like the #7 shredder in the world !!That elastic guitar strap blows my mind. And his robotic moves. Asknot - looks can be deceiving. The mask and bucket remove the personality from the act and causes one to focus on the music. Which I have tried to duplicate and I cannot !!

thegreek, buckethead is a very talented player. his KFC bucket that he uses does seem to set him apart in the gimmick department. Gibson Guitar even came out with a Buckethead les Paul in his honor. check it out somtime online.
