Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

, the Ohio EPA is taking steps to revoke the water treatment operator license of Jim Bates, the current licensed operator, as he is not properly performing his duties in a manner that is protective of public health. The agency also has reason to suspect that the operator falsified reports, so it has opened an investigation and is requesting help from U.S. EPA’s Criminal Investigation Division.

The state Environmental Protection Agency issued an emergency order Monday forbidding James Bates from working at the Sebring village water treatment plant and informing him that the agency intends to revoke his operating license for endangering the public and for submitting "misleading, inaccurate or false reports." Ohio EPA Director Craig Butler said he asked the U.S. EPA to open a criminal investigation of what occurred in Sebring, a village about 60 miles southeast of Cleveland.

The Youngstown Vindicator reported Monday that Bates has been placed on administrative leave. Bates declined to comment when reached at home.

Ohio's environmental protection agency issued a warning on December 3 about lead contamination in the Sebring water supply.

It issued a notice of violation to the village on Thursday after learning officials "had failed to properly notify its customers" and repeatedly failed to "provide timely and accurate information to the department's field office."

"It has become apparent that our field office was too patient in dealing with the village of Sebring's 'cat and mouse' game and should have had closer scrutiny on the water system meeting its deadlines," Ohio EPA Director Craig Butler said.

The agency said in a statement it has "reason to suspect that the operator falsified reports" and has asked the federal Environmental Protection Agency's criminal division for help with the investigation.

The Ohio agency did not specify what kind of reports it was referring to. A spokesperson for it was not immediately available for comment.

NCN...you are correct...reports should never be falsified much like your mis-assignment of blame. our water supplies are essential and great care and oversight should be mandated and vigorously enforced.

"A lead poisoning scandal has struck a second US town, with schools closed in Sebring, Ohio Monday and the water treatment plant operator accused of falsifying reports."

NCN, the water plant operator mentioned was actually the Water resources Superintendent and not simply an operator. although many may be considered ORC's, in actuality they never operate the plant. the plant itself has little to do with the lead being indicated in the tests. the mcl for lead is 15ppb and it was revealed that they had an mcl of 21ppb which is in violation and requires steps that are mandated to be taken. chances are the problem was revealed during which 'grab samples" were taken and tested. there are procedures in place in which to address the violation. it is not a fun task for anyone in water treatment business. the treatment and distribution of sanitary water is imperative to the health and well-being of a community. the utmost in personal integrity and honesty is required by those t
