Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

From a Yahoo report: "You’ve probably heard about the forthcoming automotive black boxes. These “automotive data recorders” are able to let government and insurance personnel determine the conditions leading up to an accident. Whether you like this idea or not, pretty soon, it’s going to be mandatory in all cars. As of September 1, 2014, 100 percent of new cars and trucks will be required to be equipped with this feature." another facet not explored would be the issuance of tickets. potentially transmitted infractions based on GPS could potentially be in the works as well as the ability to track your or your family memebers whereabouts. (please note that almost 96% of new cars already have the black box feature.)

AP report: "Dennis Rodman and a team of former National Basketball Association players arrived in North Korea on Monday for a game he says will be a "birthday present" for one of their most unlikely fans: leader Kim Jong Un." Happy Birthday you pompous little * uck.

Indeed. That was so over the top.I have to wonder how anyone could become that desensitized? What could his story be....?

good morning moderation...you are correct in your statement. i knew of the relationship but was not 100% sure.either way north korea's leader is a dangerous and unstable young man. i don't think there is enough Rodman to change his perception of himself and realize he is just a human and not a God....or even as Babwa Walters said of Obama..."The Messiah".

asknot-my thinking is that the viewing crowd was not in attendance for their entertainment, but rather their 'education'. the wife of the dogs 'main course', I believe, was the sister of Kim Jong Un's father.

asknot...i think the wife was related by blood. anyway...i believe there is a missle with Kim Jong Un's name on it in our arsenal.

asknot - The issuance of warrants, of course, involves the willingness of judiciary members of our government. The responsible naming of said members to the judiciary (who will issue ONLY constitutionally valid warrants) SHOULD BE performed, with well-reasoned debate, by the members of congress (and strictly adhere to the accepted prescripts of accepted practices).

The purpose of the Senatorial Democratic majority to adopt the Nuclear Option, in naming judges to the Federal bench, is likely to dilute your "rights to privacy" far more than anything we've experienced. IF Obama gets to name a couple of more SCOTUS justices, Katie bar the door!

Kendall78, i am much less concerned with their answer in a debate as i would be with their actions once in office.

Please don't get me wrong...I don't want Big Brother without restraint. But then again, we end up with what we put in.

If the govt signs off one day to spy without restraint on its citizens...then the problem in part lies with those that vote them in.

I would love to see a primary where one of the questions would involve asking the candidates about their views on drones and following cell phone use.

I couldn't resist the Obamacare joke. :)

Also from the article yet not mentioned, "The Device reportedly cannot record or intercept the content of a phone call so it does not act like a wiretap."

"imagine what $2 billion dollars can get ya"

Obamacare?

@thegreek- trust has nothing to do with it but common sense. There are over 100,000,000 households in the US. The govt will never end up monitoring them all or even a fraction of them.

And if drones are spotted illegally observing homes, their will be lawsuits and their will be dire results.

Lastly, at 500 feet....who cares what they could see. If they have nothing better to do than pay a "pilot" to be above my home...then we have some major issues with finances that the govt needs to address.

thegreek - If Hitler had the technological monitoring systems and devices along with all of the German peoples health history on a database that he controlled, he would have died of a terminal 'woodie'.
