Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

And if you cant seem to understand that the fact is fossil fuels are a thing of the past and coal was going to be phased out eventually . And still , I havent seen any lowering of the number of rail cars full of coal headed to our ports headed to other countries !

So you 2 are so naive as to think that any business will just pony up voluntarily because one is a good little peon ? I think all you have to do is look to the Miners in WVa and their history to see what happens when you count on those in power to do whats right and just ! Like I said , many good people lost their lives in an effort to have a better life and people like you just mock their sacrifice !

Absolem, if you were a UMW miner, would you cheerfully submit your dues, provided you were still working?

Good morning. You are correct, my point is that the union own nothing. Right to work will only be a problem for Unions whos members decide to stop paying dues, and of course that wont happen aince they are all gleefully supportive and not the slightest bit greedy, right;)

If Unions dont reflect the collective will of the membership, they will get penalized right out of existence.

you are 100% correct that the salary and most all benefits are provided for by the company with he exception of employee contributions...but even then it is out of money through wages by which the money is assigned by the worker.

one caveat to your post. the company essentially makes them "Union-Jobs" when they allow their workforce to be aquired through a glorified talent agaency or Job Headhunter. at least from my point of view. btw...Good morning.

Absolem there are no UNION jobs except tiose that work for the Union at the expense of the worker. All wages and Benefits are provided by THE COMPANY, some just cannot seem to get that

"They want all the pay and benefits that a union provides to their members without having to do anything to earn it !"

what do they have to do to "earn" the pay and benefits other than reaching into their own pocket and pay for representation? any experience or refresher courses should be needed to compete for any job...not just a "union job". so let's get this cleared up once and for all....people join unions to add to feed greedy interests...thats a good thing. but.....a sole proprieter or corporaion that seeks to increase their greedy interests...that's bad. hmmm both actions are to feed greedy interests. you know to add where there was none or not enough. but yet unions are people and corporations are people....but yet some people are not worthy of sharing the same and equal greed, if not the results, as each other. equal in the end is just a sugar substitute. :-)

Greedy union folks deciding to stop paying dues ya say? Only the rank and file can stop funding the greedy union, why would they? Unions are great right? Ask any UMW worker

Folks will grow tired of greedy people like you pretty quickly !

Will take years to get this State back

And still you Cant contest the truth ? These very few people want this for one reason , GREED(typical republinutz) ! They want all the pay and benefits that a union provides to their members without having to do anything to earn it ! There are tons of non-union shops out there where they could toil to their little hearts content and never have to pay dues but the difference is they dont pay as well and the benefits (if there are any)are way less !

absolutely time to rein in those Union thugs, God knows WV suffered for YEARS under the Democrats and Unions. I guess that is why so many people favor right to work
