Reasons not to vote for Congressman Bill Johnson

While, like the other tea-party-endorsed Republicans who were elected to office in 2010, Bill Johnson ran on the notion of "get government out of our lives", Johnson has been in lockstep with the rest in advocating draconian cuts that would affect the lives of many, especially poor, Ohioans. Like Paul Ryan and Todd Akin, he supports government intervention in women's reproductive rights. While opposing President Obama's Stimulus package, he has been quick to claim credit (after the fact) for many projects resulting from that stimulus package. He says he wants to curb "deficit spending", yet he approves of measures in the Ryan Budget that would increase the deficit by over $4 TRILLION. Also, while we salute Mr. Johnson's military service, he has used that service record to set up a military-contracting business (J2 ssociates) that would profit from Ryan Budget hikes in miliary spending - AND he has done little to help returning vets receive proper healthcare & j
