Are local Republicans so desperate that they need to put out a REALLY funny "alternative newspaper" called The Marietta Post* that contains some gems of falsehood and partisan propaganda?

When I started to dump the ads from today's 9/21/12 edition of The TIMES, I noticed an insert from the local Republican Party entitled "The Marietta Post". Apparently, the G.O.P.ers have given up on the REAL local media & view even moderate-right opinions as "leftist". They've opted instead to put out their own little "journal" that I call "The Desperation Digest". Don't toss it away! It contains some real gems of tea party "humor" - i.e. "REAL women support REAL men - Romney/Ryan" and "Democrats Boo God". The main headline is "Romney Victory in Sight". These poor folks live in a bubble and haven't noticed the nationwide Romney/Ryan meltdown after their candidate dismissed 47% of Americans as non-tax-paying moochers. It's like Custer saying "We've got those savages on the run!" The "Post" calls Andy "Pander" Thompson a "conservative statesman". Ha! "A polit
