| Latest Post: Started By: Rank: Category If the Romney/Ryan bid for election is such a "done deal" (ha!) why are close supporters of Paul Ryan floating the notion that Ryan, in case of an Obama victory, should "resign his House seat, write a book, and prepare for a run in 2016?This decision may be taken out of Ryan's hands by the citizens of his home district in Wisconsin. Why has VP candidate Ryan, thus far, spent $2 million to keep his House-of-Representatives seat from being taken by Democrat businessman Rob Zerban? The challenger is moving up in Wisconsin polls, and it is possible that Ryan's efforts to retain his political standing if Romney goes down in flames might be stifled by an electorate that is nervious about their Congressman's radical suggestions about "voucherizing" Medicare and "privatizing" Social Security ... Wouldn't it be ironic if Marietta was one of the final activities of Ryan's political career! The 2008 Marietta visit of Sarah Palin was her "last hurrah". Could it also be Ryan's!
