Is the use of fake names and anonymous remarks by posters actually counter-productive to adult discussion of important national or state issues?

While I understand that some posters feel the need for security because they might not want their employers or social contacts to know their views, it's possible that the overuse of such devices allows persons with a "bullying" mentality to thrive and possibly compromise intelligent discussion of these forum topics ... Do some (but not all) of these persons hide behind their fake identities like some southern "good ole boys" hid beneath K.K.K. hoods in order to lie, libel, threaten, or intimidate others? Is this a "problem"?

Some basic rules should be followed when leaving comments. 1. Comments should be your own opinion. Not cut and paste materials from other sources. This would normally violate the terms of service of the source. 2. Comments should only be left on one topic/story. 3. Comments should be on the topic of the the story/forum and should not be aimed at other people using the forums.

I see you still haven't changed your ways,r1kra8. You are EQUALLY as guilty as that what you protest.

R1KRA8 rankly some will always seek to be "special " with their constant clamor of ‘off-topic’ cut & paste "name-calling, insults, and wild claims" but the truth is they are just weak-minded, lazy and cannot debate on a level playing field so they revert to their long-time tactic of “name-calling, insults, and wild claims” but that is just a evasion because they do not have anything valid to add without looking foolish.

Here's the question MODERATION will not answer.

Is a union affiliate of 30+ years the same as a union fat cat, union boss, or union leader, or union official?

free4all = Morningstar = changling = Munster = Knowsbest

Here is the truth . . .

. . .

“. . . no one that is left leaning has admonished Munster for his repetitive cut and pastes. moderation ( a union affiliate of 30+ years) does not seem inclined to write anything about his favorite retired dues exempt USW member’s habit. I suspect as long as its written gun is not pointed at them and only at the left leaning folks, it is just one less word bullet that they have to fire.”

Everyone here understands that MUNSTER has to ‘cut & paste’ repetitive name-calling, insults, and wild claims because he is not secure or confident with his own viewpoints.

Is the use of the fake name MUNSTER and REPETITIVE ‘cut & paste’ juvenile remarks by the 60ish year-old childish poster actually counter-productive to adult discussion of important national or state issues?
