Racism and the 2012 election

Explain how one group can be racist for voting around 60% against a man of a different racial background but another group that votes 90% against a person of a different racial background isn't racist?

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal announced this week that he's running for president. In anticipation of his announcement, the Washington Post assigned two white writers to declare, in effect, that Jindal -- the son of Indian immigrants -- isn't a real Indian. The Post promoted the story on Twitter with a quote from a college professor proclaiming, "There's not much Indian left in Bobby Jindal."

Ah, liberals.

NCN...Actually you did. You alledged fraud by deception. The republicans have embraced ideas before appearance or finding the most well spoken minority...you know like the democrats did according to Dingy Harry. Fad politics at its best.

BeRight - Now HOW COULD the vetting network of the United States have missed that information about Obama, when he first ran for president and, more importantly, WHY ?

I applied for a job with the US government almost four decades ago. The US Dept. of State sent agents around to question people that had known me or held records about me, up until that point in my life. I underwent a 5 hour polygraph exam where they ask me the most intrusive questions one could imagine being asked.

All of that background checking and I wasn't running for any political position, least of all the presidency.

How DID Obama's past slip through the protective filters of Liberty and WHY ?

He could be part of a black world where his pastor and spiritual mentor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., expressed paranoid fantasies about white conspiracies to spread drugs or HIV

Part black, part white, raised in Hawaii and Indonesia, with family of different religious and spiritual backgrounds—seen by others in ways he didn't see himself—the young Barry was looking for solid ground. At Occidental, he was feeling as if he was at a "dead end," he tells NEWSWEEK, "that somehow I needed to connect with something bigger than myself." The name Barack tied him more firmly to his black African father, who had left him and his white mother at a young age and later returned home to Kenya.

Nas do you think those were white writers who thought it was important to track down those traffic citations for Cruz?

Heavy duty investigative reporting there.

Any one with a MasterCard can look that stuff up now.

NCN...what is your point? You have yet to prove any name changes to hide their ethnicity from their electorate as you alluded too. Isn't it great that it doesn't matter!

So which ethnic denier will get the nod in your opinion? I think you will find that many change their names for various reasons. What evidence do you have that their name change was politically motivated? Besides other than romney...crush and jindal appear uncommon to me...but maybe not others.

but I will give him this, he cut education funding for children, refused medicaid expansion for the poor people in his state, supported voter suppression and did his darndest to support the dismantling of obamacare...

what is it with republicans running away from their real names? Puyesh Jindal, Willard Romney, Rafael Cruz...it seems that they think their base is dumb enough to accept their concealment of their true ethnicities...
