G "DUBYA" BUSH's Legacy

Why do the news outlets and leftist liberals not report the good things that he has done for the country and the people of Sudan instead of focusing on the problems that the country endured under his fine leadership?

During the four hour meeting: The senior GOP members plotted to bring Congress to a standstill regardless how much it would hurt the American Economy by pledging to obstruct and block President Obama on all legislation. These Republican members of Congress were not simply airing their complaints regarding the other party's political platform for four long hours. No, these Republican Congressional Policymakers, who were elected to do 'the People's work' were literally plotting to sabotage, undermine and destroy the U.S. Economy.

"He has been bypassing the republicans ever since."

It happens when one party controls the Executive Branch and one half of the Legislative.

"he has been publicly bragging that he has gone around them all along"

He's selling the notion that the Congressional Republicans are not willing to compromise and that's why he goes around them. Legally I might add or he would have been brought up on impeachment.

It is not only his last 2 years. It started the first week in office. He has been bypassing the republicans ever since. I do have a memory !! He also corralled the dems on the ACA which no repubs, (or very few) even voted yea on. Good grief he has been publicly bragging that he has gone around them all along !!

"There are numerous other presidents that got the cooperation of both parties?"

And equally so...there have been numerous presidents that couldn't get the cooperation of both parties because of their own self interests.

It's hardly surprising that Obama cannot get the parties together when he is entering into his final 2 years. Bush also had issues with getting unity during his last two years, though I would hardly put all the blame on him.

And believe it or not greek but I think I'm registered as a republican ! (but that's a long story ) I probably should change that !

Believe what you want greek ! Maybe the reason isn't with the president but with this republican strategy of obstruction ! Talk to Grover Nordquist and the others who came up with this idiocy maybe they can explain it to you !You see it takes two to tango and so far the President seems to be dancing alone !I firmly believe that the President has tried many times to work with your heros but they don't want to have any of it ! They have chosen to sacrifice the common good of the American people in order to have their own agenda put first ! They just cant accept the fact that they lost the election , (not once but twice)and yet they want to do everything their own way !Win an election and then maybe you can have your way cry babies !

When I say I am not a Democrat, I am not lying. Not once did you ever ask what poltical party I am a member of. You just made dumb guesses.

Don't put your own lack of common sense onto us as if it's our fault.

Now if you actually want to know what party I am registered with and my political leanings, you may ask nicely.

And you guys slay me by denying being democrats. You argue all their talking points to a tee and stand up for their stupidity... Why in the heck don't you say you are INDEPENDANT??? That's better than lying !!

thegreek

Why in the world would you forget a president that is responsible for all this not getting along and cooperating???? Like I said. Instead of discussing issues with the others, he gets on the mike and hammers the he ll outta them. There are numerous other presidents that got the cooperation of both parties? Can Barry not pattern their actions to use for his benefit?? NO. He don't give a hoot... Hes a celebrity !!!

I always feel bad for any President that's blames for losing a house of Congress. Obviously if it's the President is to blame, then the voters are not paying attention to the people that are running for office.

Forget the President unless you are voting for the President. If one is voting for a Senator or Rep, then they should base their votes on the people that are running and not the head of the Executive Branch.

And knock off that IRS/EPA garbage ! Boy , once the republicans demonize something it just goes on and on !

Ohwiseone

Sorry greek but I'm not a democrat !There you go with that right-wing assumption garbage !And I don't hate the republicans , I just don't like the ones that lie and mis-lead for a living ! You apparently are the one who needs to "wake up" ! Turn off faux and rush and pull your head outta yer keister ! There is a whole new world out there that's not spouting radical republican dogma !
