Every president has to play with the cards they are dealt. We were in Iraq. Can’t just pretend we were not. And oh by the way, we were in IRAQ when he got elected so he can't say "d a m! We got folks in IRAQ". WTF! He abandoned the country and now we have ISIS. To make decisions based on political donors and polling data is bad policy. And to say “You don’t know for sure that he didn’t follow advice of military leaders” in reality is you admitting you live in Obamaland and not the real world.

Well bewrite since we should'nt have been there in the first place , Obama wouldnt have to have made these decisions ! And are you in the military and sitting in on strategy meetings ? You dont know for sure that he didnt follow advice of military leaders ! And all that money wouldnt have been "squandered" if we wouldnt have gone to war on a bunch of lies from the Bush people !

Wow isn’t hindsight wonderful: It will be found that Obama abandoning Iraq will go down as one of the biggest blunders ever committed by a president. Allowing the rise of ISIS in the vacuum created by Obama, against the advice of all his military advisors, simply because he wanted to keep a political promise to donors has already cost thousands of lives and will cost hundreds of thousands more when he allows Iran to go nuke. He has squandered every dime spent on the Iraq war and wasted ever life of every service man and woman who died there.

Stillhere

Again i ask buffy, What policy or spending etc did obama not get due to obstruction?

Posted 53 days ago.

Ohwiseone

Wow isnt hindsight wonderful ! Just like that republipervert Hasert , look back and see what could have been done eh ? Obama didnt start this war on lies and mis-leading information now did he ? And just maybe if he hade some help instead of total obstruction things might have been different ! But you goofballs agree that screwing the american people for 7 years is the right thing to do ! Now that speaks volumes !

“It’s harder to end a war than begin one. Indeed, everything that American troops have done in Iraq -– all the fighting and all the dying, the bleeding and the building, and the training and the partnering -– all of it has led to this moment of success. Now, Iraq is not a perfect place. It has many challenges ahead. But we’re leaving behind a sovereign, stable and self-reliant Iraq, with a representative government that was elected by its people. We’re building a new partnership between our nations.

“This is an extraordinary achievement, nearly nine years in the making.”

That is not Bush announcing the Iraq War a success or mission accomplished, that is President Obama … just before he lost the war in an election year gambit by removing all of our troops, including the kind of stabilizing forces we still have in other countries like Korea and Japan.

Well konect he wasnt so much " circumnavigating the US Constitution" as he was circumnavigating the obstructing repubican traitors ! And tiredbrain troll ,I doubt very seriously that in the last year of Bushs term , Obama could be below 23% !

Americans now have a more favorable view of former President George W. Bush than they do of President Barack Obama. It is the first time in more than a decade that Americans have expressed a favorable view of Bush, at least according to a new CNN/ORC poll released Wednesday.

QUOTED FROM OHWISEONE; "Well in the service its called insubordination ! Whether you agree with the orders or not , your a serviceman and your job is to follow them without question !"

WOW! I can name a few dead swastika-wearing individuals that didn't miss their date with the Hangman by trying that line.

With his affinity for circumnavigating the US Constitution, Obama should wish he had a cadre of the military robots like you envision.

Teapartier

He would not have had to do that with Bush. He would have listened and heeded his advice instead of blowing him off like Obsama

Posted 55 days ago.

Teapartier

Refusing a direct order is insubordination OWO. Not publicly speaking your opinion about a military issue. Not a good idea in the military but not insubordination. A military person still has freedom of speech..

McChrystal was correct about Obama and Biden.

Well in the service its called insubordination ! Whether you agree with the orders or not , your a seviceman and your job is to follow them without question !

Beright sometimes a person has to stand up for their beliefs even if it costs them their jobs. If a person has had a good career and can afford to lose said job then I say go for it, make a point and be done with it. McChrystal probably had enough of the idiots in DC telling he wasnt seeing what he was seeing or needing over there.
