BeRight...i agree with you about win xp. very little hurts Microsoft...although they do need to be "the innovator" whenever possible.
What a deal Microsoft had on XP. Ran it for years with little problem but the hackers finally caught up and the fixes were just too much.
It probably did not hurt MS's bottom line when everyone ran out to get a new OS's! LOL
A real clucking genius !
Xp dang auto correct
Do was the last good operating system!
My cousin owns and a large computer consulting firm in the metro area. He gives me grief all the time...heck I thought i did well to advance from windows 3.1!!!!
Good late afternoon to you beright. Nope the world is still turning and I still get malicious software updates. I only run it on my personal computer...which I am happy with. My wife gets spoiled with the newest gear. I am really a simple guy at heart and happy with life. I do however operate it on a protected network...for now.
Windows XP? I guess you did not believe that the world would come to an end when Microsoft stop supporting XP.
I work for a big company. When Microsoft pulled the plug on XP, our IT department had to upgrade about 14,000 laptops.
Beright...I am a stick in the mud when it comes to computer operating systems. I like my personal computers win xp OS. I get the compatability icon as well. The xp will not allow upgrading windows explorer....so I just use Google Chrome for the programs and features that are limited by win xp. The corporate computers are all updated and firing on all 12 cylinders. 12 is better than 8 btw.
Good morning and happy Easter beright. Glad to hear you solved your issue.
My Browser must have re-set it self when I was not looking. I Clicked on compatibility view and that took care of the problem.
With commissioned officers I think the president may alleviate them of their duty if not themselves but by proxy. Too bad his sense of honor prevents him from firing within his corrupt administration...he rewards the misdeeds with promotions and accolades. Effed up isn't it?
I have no problems with firings for misconduct but you know as a service person there is a courtmarshalling process to go thru - it is not a POTUS decision ONLY !!
seems so TP, Obama is cleaning house though :)
So the secret service is full of drunks guarding the pres and vice pres and families. If we do it in the military should we not do it in the SS too.
allegations of sexual misconduct account for the firing of 30 percent of military commanders over the past eight years. That figure that increases to 40 percent when “ethical lapses” such as sexual assault and harassment, ***********, drugs and drinking are lumped together.
Major General Baker, a two-star general who served as commander of the Joint Task Force-Horn at Camp Lamar in Djibouti, Africa, was fired for alcohol and sexual misconduct charges.
So why are these top military officials being purged? The official reasons range from mishandling nukes, to sexual misconduct, to having illegal poker chips.
of course nutjobs don't believe this, but I don't want some drunk handling any nukes!!...
Oama Reported to be Dismissing Military Leaders Who Will Not Fire on Civilians, if Ordered. 4 February 2013
this is what TP wants you to believe, nutjobs will always fall for this bullsh*t...
Did you ever think they just weren't doing their jobs ?
Oh no that couldn't be it b/c President Obama did the firing...what I read of one is he was drunk on the job but that's not a good enough excuse!!...
