As a guitar guy, one must appreciate the short couple of yrs when Skynyrd had three of the finest players in the country Rossington, Collins, and Gains. "Bring all mules out here" R. VanZant

Obama won 63.2% of the votes in Mahoning County, one of the highest of any county in Ohio. As is generally the case in predominantly Democratic areas, Mahoning county's median household income of $41,350 is lower than the national median of $52,482.

Matter of fact the only original member left is Gary Rossington unless you count Ricky Medlocke who was with them in the very early years

Simo. feel free to google the site. on the homepage, click on "go to the forum. once there you can find them posting quite a bit under the 1952-1960 gibson les paul section. you can also post juniors as well as customs. i have not registered yet...still a lurker. my 50's junior is a bit shy...nah...not really. it is a "BEAST"!!!!

Coal....yep the G3 line-up has always been awesome. Yngwie is amazing. i loved watching him with the Orchestra...i think it was in Japan...subject to correction. if you don't already follow it...the lespaulforum is a great place to visit. there are many of the artists that are members there that we grew up with...elliot easton of the cras is a member as well as bonamassa and ed king. it is a great site ran by some seemingly good people.

And I could listen to any instrument. Some songs I listen to the bass line and some the drums etc. Especially Rush. You can listen to one song 3 times and pick out an instrument and get a different feel of that song. Same with AC/DC. Their drum lines are so pure. Not much in crash symbols or hi hat.

Abby. I fully agree with you about Vai.. A little weird at first with Zappa but awesome sounding. Have you listened to any of the G3 series with Satriani, Eric Johnson, Malmsteen, Petrucci ?? I have 3 dvd of this. Awesome. And I saw Vai live when he was with David Lee Roth after the split up. I am not much of a Santana fan after he ran his louie about immigration at the opening of one of the ball games.

While speed is a talent of sorts , great guitar players dont rely on finger tapping or other such things
