Maybe Bush had his DD214 record sealed.

So it is OK for a frug addict or alcoholic to continue to abuse drugs and alcohol and simply blame ones parents or a lousy upbringing?? That is what you ALL are doing with Obama. Giving him a pass for not correcting things in SIX years !! Wouldnt it be much better to take responsibility as a leader of the country and FACE the problems and correct them instead of whining ?? In drug and alcohol abuse, admitting you have a problem and taking responsibility for it is THE first step before rehab can happen !!

asknot...according to Obama he directed the capture and killing of Bin Laden...so yes they do seem to coordinate attacks.

asknot, it appears that any mistake that the President makes is immediately countered with a comparison or mistake by Bush. it reminds me of the definition of a split-second. you know the time it takes for the light to turn green and the arse behind you to blow their horn. it is that immediate. frankly i detest the word inherit when it comes to the presidency. the president campaigned for the job, got the job and hopefully will exit the job with the nation in a much better position. we can all moan and groan how bad the last president was, but the fact remains that the buck stops with Obama. i would venture to speculate that the president is perpetuating in equal amounts the very same programs and policies that many of you are lambasting Bush for.

Kendall78, apparently the sting bothers you a bit more than it does me. both of the Presidents that you referenced had direct and indirect military experience. Lincoln as a Militia Captain and FDR as an Assistant to the Secretary of the Navy. i would venture to say that having some experience quite possibly may be preferable to zero experience. whether it is a "big whooping deal" or not does not detract from the fact that he does not have nor will have a DD214 as BobBarker implied. thank you for your comment.

"i know...non-existent."

And obviously not needed since both of those gentlemen got us through some of thr worst wars in our nation's history.

So Obama doesn't have a DD214, big whooping deal.

BobBarker, LTD????? wasn't that a rather large ford sedan? by golly it was. it bordered on being a suitable pimp-mobile by todays standards.

BobBarker...it really doesn't work that way. although one may be Commander-in-Chief, it does not automatically include a DD214. unfortunately, the President, barring executive order, will not be getting one for his service at the helm.

fred, you folks and your glossing over Obama's blunders by dredging up "Ghosts of Bushs Past" could become a drinking game. now we can blame you for a world full of drunks.

"where is Obama's DD214?"

Probably the same place where you would find Lincoln's or FDR's military records.

fred...you see there's the difference between me and you. you see it from your point of view and i see it from mine. i much prefer my point of view. now since you know what us Southern boys are thinking...i'll give ya three guesses as to what i am thinking right now.

BobBarker...where is Obama's DD214? he doesn't mind sending others in harms way, just look what he did to Susan Rice. i was defending President Bush in his effort to congratulate our military personel and their successful mission.

Asknot. You're not used to the real world too much are you?? You didn't absorb what I read! OK, I will re explain for you (although this is getting tedious). What if some reporter asked a 5 star general how the hunt for Osama Bin Laden was going. ?? Would he say "OH, we have his location narrowed down to Pakistan. That is top rank classified info dude !! That bunch of lying sonza beeches have been hiding him.." What do you think Bin Laden would do??? FLEE PAKISTAN... Is not Bush a higher ranking person than a 5 star general???. Yes!!! He was the Commander in Chief... I understand your not buying that because you are used to Amateur Hour with Biden and Barry. But I would sure think you would have some more worldy common sense that way you comment here. You need to hang out with some military guys. WOW.

asknot...shall we compare the PR stunt of a Beer Summit to the celebration of the efforts of our fine military men and women?

asknot..i am not sure...i have never seen an actual Danish bra. 8-)

BobBarker, in case you did not know, there are many missons within a battle. that particular mission had been accomplished. the celebration was for the men and women of the military that accomplished that particular mission. the fact that the Commander-in-Chief was present should have no bearing on your disdain for the service members success. the current Commander-in-Chief certainly does not mind taking "military" credit when convenient.
