took credit for something stillhere mentioned.
I don't follow but no big deal...
NCN..."culprit". i meant it in the context of a playful spirit in that you immediately took credit for something stillhere mentioned. it was not meant in any demeaning form and i am sorry if it painted you in an unfavorable light.
radio-silence is not our strong suit...now is it? :-)
And I am incognito.
Good enough for me :)
in your admission of being the culprit
I made no such admission to whatever you are talking about...I admitted I misspoke about the drilling in alaska...
way to go NCN....you are showing a bit of integrity in your admission of being the culprit as well as "misspeaking". that goes a long way in dealing with others on an amicable level. although i have my doubts about Moderation. he is the shadow-man.
So what say ya NASCAR
I say I misspoke ;)
I said it...like I said my son use to work at the mcdonalds the man stood at...he was friendly with most of the employees there...they talked to him when taking their breaks...you can learn alot about someone just by listening...
But, I never said that, kunec !!
"Yeah there are signs alright but who needs to surveil some panhandlers ? Get the police to do their job !"
"Surveil" ? Looking at them, while I'm stuck at a red-light, while they leer in my side window is "Surveilling"? Being able to see them as you approach them from two blocks away and recognizing them because of seeing them doing the same thing over a period of 20 months, is "surveilling"???
What would you describe moderation's ability to tell you where their tent was located and what they had in it as being, "consciously aware"?
Bushes fault all the way !
After years of accidents, Shell today (Aug. 17) received a final okay to DRILL FOR OIL in the depths of the Arctic Ocean north of Alaska. The APPROVAL FROM THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION means that Shell can drill deep under the Chukchi Sea in an area that may contain as many as 15 billion barrels of oil.
CAPS ADDED BY ME To demonstrate how full of it Nascar is on this one. He wants to blame BUSH and claim they are not drilling for oil to produce

15 BILLION, gee sounds like a production well to me
If you want to blame Bush (as you do for everything) explain whey Obama had to approve the drilling.
And its NOT a test well, they are drilling for OIL but other than that you got it right :)
it's a test well not a production well...also the drilling leases had been purchased before he took office...good ole george just keeps giving eh...
I just saw this odd post on the net:
Two days before heading to Alaska to raise climate change awareness, US President Barack Obama on Saturday defended his controversial decision to allow Shell to drill in the Arctic's Chukchi Sea.
The Obama administration's green light for the Anglo-Dutch oil giant angered environmental groups which have decried the "hypocrisy" of the president, who in recent months has stressed the need for aggressive actions against climate change.
Drill baby Drill.
Yeah there are signs alright but who needs to surveil some panhandlers ? Get the police to do their job !
So, a logical deduction made from a basis of your astute conclusions would then be that the City of Parkersburg is ALSO "Paranoid and suspicious" (Ohwiseone's words) for posting signs warning the public about the likely ramifications of giving money to the panhandlers?
