Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

obsolem- are you saying that the ACA wasn't the essence of a heritage foundation proposal, and modeled after 'romney care', even if it was written, essentially, by the insurance industry lobbyists'?

so are you saying that the democrats planned on lying, delaying the unpleasant parts of the law and creating the ill-conceived law that we are stuck with? that sure sounds like what you are saying.

obama wanted "republican chicken heads" and not input.

the ACA was close to 100% democrat created, promoted and passed. are you denying that the democrats are responsible for the law? it sure sounded like you were based on your previous and extensive posts on the subject. you blame others for the democrats failures concerning the law. if the law had been blindingly successful in its full implementation, then we can assume that you would give the republicans credit for their contributions or lack thereof. what say you?

the democrats were given enough rope to hang themselves....enjoy the swing.

it is foolish to blame the republicans for not correcting or insuring that the democrats got it right the first time in crafting the ACA. the law was presented and sold to the american people by way of a lie. the democrats as well as those involved bear the full responsibility of the law. there is simply no other way to see it in any other light.

So the team had no advisors?

That would explain why it is such a P O S.

Are you under the impression that a bunch of Democrats locked them selves up in a room and wrote Obama care?

.......There were no outside "advisors"? The authors were just elected Democrats and their staff members?

Nascar, Gruber also said you were stupid.

Were, ok...lol

see I would think the Repubs would have a plan before they start dismantling others...it's been years for them to come up with a better plan and still nothing, nada, zilch...

President Obama’s health care adviser Jonathan Gruber said that the Affordable Care Act would definitely not be affordable while he was writing the bill with the White House. Gruber said that Oblablacare had no cost controls in it and would not be affordable

There working on it. The Health Insuracne industry and Gruber wrote Oblablacare. Maybe the Rep should take another route.

. It's important to note that these irritations are forced upon the very people that President Obama is counting on to make his law popular.

There are plenty of reasons for people to oppose Obamacare on policy grounds. But politically, the law's fatal weakness may be the irritation it delivers to those it's supposed to help

Adding insult to injury, a substantial number of tax filers will go to all this trouble only to find out that their subsidies were too high and they owe the federal government more money. According to some estimates, more than 3 million people will learn they have to give back some of the subsidies they were counting on. But some are ongoing. In recent months, it became clear that everybody who gets insurance through the exchanges will have to go back to the Healthcare.gov website every year. Due to complexities in the formula for calculating subsidies, they will either have to select a new plan (meaning they might also have to switch doctors every year) or risk higher out-of-pocket costs.

Changing insurance and doctors every year is a major hassle, to say the least
