Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

Ohwiseone: pay attention. You may qualify for a subsidy in your monthly payments but the deductibles still have to be paid by the individual.

People dance in the street because they have a policy. They are not smart enough to read it and find out about the $10,000+ deductibles.

What a bunch of hooey. When Jonathan Gruber said the voters were stupid, he was looking at you.

Who can forget the thousands of innocent civilians, young and old, whose lives were ended, or negatively effected by the bombing campaign to rid their country of the potential threat of the ability to create "a mushroom cloud"? Atrocity?Yup.

thegreek: CNN is all over this. Basically they are saying the Democrats counted on their stupid constituency to get ACA passed.

If you think you will have a comfortable retirement relying on 100% Social Security then we will be seeing you at the food pantry.

moderation: people who think the Gov't has the answer to everything make me sick.

There has to be some point where people have to take ownership of their lives. There has to be some point where people who make bad decisions pay for those decisions.

Gov't should be a safety net, not a fishing net.

Changing health car insurance for all in order to provide for the 5-10% with problems makes no sense. Take care of the 5-10%.

I have seen "stories" about peoples' lives being saved by the ACA.

Tell me more about what you know about people losing their insurance, if you have that concern.

beright- you believe that man will always do the right thing, huh?!Tell me why insurance companies were allowed to discriminate as they were? Who changed that practice? The IRS issue, well, people cheat over a friggin' dime. The Mitt issue is legit. If a man is that inconsitent in his belief system, he is a danger to my belief system.By the way, overall health care costs are increasing at the lowest rate ever. Now,being a businessman, wouldn't you say that is a step in the right direction? And, not lastly, if we could have insured 8 mil.people cheaper, why wasn't it happening?

What happened to Ohwiseone being on here?

Has he/she went the way of Fred Oneill, LilyOvalley and other long term Obama Brownnosers as more revelations surface about just how corrupt the guy is?

Mod, fundamentally, you agree with the ACA and I do not. You and MSNBC keep bringing up Mitt. It is obvious that you believe the individual mandate, employer mandate, penalties, IRS involvement, higher co-pays and higher deductibles, people losing their insurance are all favorable outcomes for you.

We could have given those 8 million insurance and done away with the pre-existing stuff without a 3000 page bill.

And the most irritating of all, we have congress people still if office who voted for a major restructuring of USA healthcare who did not read the*****bill before they voted for it.

Got to pass the bill so we know what is in it? Remember that mod?

Say hello to Rachel Maddow when you see her.

So you think ponying up a bunch of personal information just to shop for a plan is a smart idea? I think it was a stupid idea and I still do.

Why not let people look before they have to fill out forms and give up personal information?

That was a huge Gov't overgrab by the Oblabla administration.

So,most of ya don't want to remember that this law is basically the same as touted by the RIGHT wing Heritage Foundation, before the left showed strong support for it, and it is structured quite similarily to Gov. Mitt Romney's signature health program for the state of Massachusetts. Mitt wanted to repeal the ACA,right? Come on sheeple, get a grip.

We have idiots in the Oblabla administration: Federal officials Sunday night turned on a portion of HealthCare.gov to allow consumers to explore the benefits and prices of health plans that will be sold for 2015 through the federal health insurance exchange.

Wow , you can now look over plans without signing up first! Idiots.

You just did it again: YOU say that all the time. The Republicans should go along with what Barry and the Dems want and since the Rep don't you call them obstructionists. You have said it 50, now 51 times in your posts.

You make it sound as though the Democrats are compromisers. Are you writing you posts from Colorado and smoking some wacky tabacky?

You also make it sound like the Democrats never have "strategized" against a Republican president.

Only Republicans have strategy sessions against the other party?

Are you saying that the Democrats united to make George Bush a successful president unlike the Republicans going after Obama?

Take another puff my friend and inhale deeply

There was zero compromise in ACA on the Dems side. The only difference in being an obstructionist in that case was the Dems had the votes.

So, if a republican wins the white house the Democrats will vote for anything that person wants because they don't want to be obstructionists?

The Democrats will roll over and vote the way of the white house even though it goes against their core beliefs?

That is what you are saying the party out of power should do.

You have said it a hundred times in your posts.
