Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

Obamacare is much more than a web site: The Ohio State Medical Association estimates that UnitedHealthcare has canceled contracts with hundreds of Ohio doctors effective Jan. 1. The cancellations include most of the orthopedic surgeons in Dayton, the only hand specialty practice serving the Cincinnati area, a large gastroenterology practice with 2,500 patients that also provides most of the inpatient care at five Cincinnati-area hospitals, and the largest practice of retina specialists serving 600 UnitedHealthcare members, many with macular degeneration, in central and southern Ohio. In Connecticut, UnitedHealthcare is terminating about 2,250 physicians, including 810 specialists, Feb. 1, said Mark Thompson, executive director of the Fairfield County Medical Association, prompting the medical associations in Fairfield and Hartford counties to file a federal lawsuit to stop the cancelations. In New York City, UnitedHealthcare's contracts with about 2,100 physicians will be canceled In

As if the millions of Americans set to lose their existing health insurance coverage as a result of Obamacare was not bad enough, a recent survey by Watchdog**** has found that many top hospitals across the nation will no longer be accessible to the average person with a new “eligible” plan. In fact, many major hospitals are being excluded from Obamacare coverage altogether, which means that millions of previously covered individuals will have to settle for subpar care at other “in-network” facilities.

Blather from the left Robert Reich: The other day I heard a young man say he’d rather pay a penalty than buy health insurance under the Act because, in his words, “why should I pay for the sick and the old?” The answer is he has a responsibility to do so, as a member the same society they inhabit.

The Act also depends on richer people paying higher taxes to finance health insurance for lower-income people. We are becoming a vastly unequal society in which most of the economic gains are going to the top. It’s only just that those with higher incomes bear some responsibility for maintaining the health of Americans who are less fortunate.

But there would be no reason to reform and extend health insurance to begin with if we did not have moral obligations to one another as members of the same society.

Can you spell Income Redistribution?

If you like it you can keep it: President Barack Obama tried this month to defuse a political crisis over his health-care overhaul with an eleventh-hour offer to let people keep their noncompliant health policies an extra year — if insurers agreed. But that offer likely will mean little for Ohioans upset with the notices they received in recent months telling them that those policies were being discontinued. Medical Mutual of Ohio, one of the state’s largest sellers of health insurance to individuals, said yesterday that it will not extend its plans that do not comply with the Affordable Care Act for an extra year.

Welcome to Obamaland.

I forgot to push the Times Spell Check button: ACA was and is not about health care it is about health insurance. The ACA will ruin Health Care for millions when they lose their doctor and the policies they like.

Here in lies the problem in that the "trainwreck" was seen coming, predicted and everyone involved wrote the people saying that as "chicken littles". What if they pull this with something actually devastatingly catastrophic ?????

One thing a wise person needs to learn early in life is dont mess with or work on anything that is above your training or knowledge of. In my case it is electricity and anything beyond checking fuses, breakers, loose connections etc. The people that were responsible for setting up the ACA were obviously WAY in over their heads and thought they understood everything there is/was to know about health care and website construction which is obviously not true and everyone predicted it to NO avail...
