Is the GOP "out of touch" with women?

A recent CNN poll has 55% of Americans saying that the GOP doesn't understand women. Is it true that the GOP, and by extension Right-leaning Conservatives, really out of touch or is it just a perceived truth without merit? Is the GOP allowing the Liberals/Dems/Left to define to the public what they stand for?

If the GOP is so in touch with women , why dont they trot out their shining examples of right-wing womenhood, Sarah Palin and Michele Bachman ? Could it be that they detest The Donald ?

Well , if most republican women are like Sarah Palin and Michele Bachman , its understandable why the republican men are out of touch with them !lol
