Listen dum-dum , I dont think that those bank robbers gave a sh*t about whether they had the proper permits ! The fact is they did it ! And no it isnt just flipping a switch but apparently if 2 semi litarite criminals can get it done then just about anyone can !And heres the real BS , there is no legitimate reason for a civilian to own a military assault weapon ! Free, that statement is so stupid it defies logic. Even counting firearms deaths involving rifles, not just the AR style rifle, they're used in less than 1% of firearms deaths per year. That's from DOJ crime statistics. Handgun deaths, usually involving a shooting between our budding young "junior gangster" class account for the vast majority of firearms related deaths annually.

Google is your friend, and if you'd actually use that source before making completely misinformed comments, perhaps people might think you're really trying to have an intelligent discussion.

How many Americans would immediately push it, although informed that you were likely going to kill thousands of innocent Afghanis? Those THAT WOULD probably WOULDN'T ten days hence. Those that STILL WOULD, after reflection, write knee-jerk reactionary pro-gun control posts here...like MUNSTER, here.

How many American families, if presented with the following option would jump all over it?

Your at home and your doorbell rings. Two uniformed military officers are at your door to convey the news your son/husband/wife/daughter has just been killed by the Taliban in Afghanistan. They know the position of the killers and have a nuclear-tipped missile locked onto their position. They have a launcher with a button on it with them and all you have to do is push it to gain your retribution.

OK , logic says that if there werent any assault weapons available there would be less death !

I'm sitting here right now watching the "NRA 500" NASCAR race, a race an idiot Democrat Senator DEMANDED that television refuse to air.

More people die every year in auto accidents, but I'm not seeing either political parties members demanding races sponsored by auto manufacturers not be aired. Drunk drivers kill lots of people every year, never heard of any politician call for races sponsored by beer or liquor companies to be dropped from programing.

You talk like converting a semi-auto rifle to full auto operation is some simple task, like making an adjustment or filing a part. It requires the necessary parts to convert it, parts not easily obtained. And not legal to own unless you are a manufacturer of full auto firearms, or if you actually own a registered firearm of that type.

So, not even that ignorant rant of your shows a touch of logic. Just because they resemble each other, it's not as simple as you claim it is.

Oh, BTW, converting a firearm to full auto from semi-auto is illegal unless you have a BATFE license.

I see your game, you keep comparing them that way to justify laws banning civilian models, all the time knowing you're spreading a load of BS!
