Are the Second Amendment "rights" of Americans really being "threatened" - or is this complaint just another gimmick to get the right-wing, reactionary base "fired up" for 2012?

Well Bob, if you're not going to do it, I guess I'll have to ... Some of today's "pretend patriots" might want to look at what is happening in Egypt ... A real "revolution" isn't pretty ... Some Americans, however, are claiming that President Obama and his administration are "tyrants", and (in the words of failed Nevada Senatorial candidate Sharron Angle) "Second Amendment Solutions" might be needed ... Is she right? Or is she just "right-wing"? Inquiring minds want to know!

No it is not a valid point at all!! No way shape or form. It is rediculous and YOU just PROVED it, over and over and over again. You would be better off if you had enough sense to know when to pipe down !!You just want them banned to make yourselves feel better.

The point is still valid no matter how much you twist and deflect ! No civilian needs an assault rifle PERIOD !!!

turning out to be an easier fight than expected because you ignorant anti gunners have underestimated your foe!! We are not as gullible as those that voted for Barry !!

The rifling may have a different twist to spin the bullet faster or slower in relation to the bullet speed and weight. Usually used in bench target shooting. BUT the point is that you can interchange barrels on any rifle but we are talking about A BAN so that is a MOOT POINT. I am sure that Ms Feinstein knows the difference between rifle twists of the guns she has on her ban list. - NOT..The point is, you all that are for this ban dont have a clue what you are DOING !!!You all are knee jerking and saying - yeah, good idea take their guns to stop this murdering and the facts arent there to support you. It is a move with underlying motives because Feinstein has been working on this bill for a year before the shootings took place. The NRA and the American people aren't as stupid as you lefists have assumed us to be. You are using your own dem's as your pattern but us gunowners have been waiting in the wings for this and we are prepared to stand and fight as the NRA says. It is turning o

Since you know so much , tell me about the rifling between a M-16 and a ruger ! And there is a difference ! Ones made for the military and ones not !

From the book "Ruger & His Guns" (R.L. Wilson; CHARTWELL BOOKS, INC. ; 2007)

"I have often said - and I know I am correct here - if we brought the Mini-14 out five years earlier it would have become the standard Army rifle. I used to hand it to some old Marines I knew and they'd pick it up, bang, bang, just like it was the M14 and slap it open and slap it shut. You could shoot it all day long. Of course that was the fatal flaw of the M14. The Army was looking for a full-power FULLY AUTOMATIC handheld weapon."

There's the difference between the Mini-14 and the AR-15, Munster. There IS NO DIFFERENCE! You have to move on to the M16 to find the capability that satisfied the military in their pursuit of a weapon that crossed the line to be considered an "assault rifle", fully-automatic fire capability. NOT FOUND ON THE MINI-14 OR AR-15. Do you also confuse bats as "night birds"?

And just so you goofballs know there are alot of guns(re: bazookas etc) that the big bad government has taken away from you and yet you still have a few guns laying around ! The ONLY thing this will affect is military assault rifles !
