Are the Second Amendment "rights" of Americans really being "threatened" - or is this complaint just another gimmick to get the right-wing, reactionary base "fired up" for 2012?

Well Bob, if you're not going to do it, I guess I'll have to ... Some of today's "pretend patriots" might want to look at what is happening in Egypt ... A real "revolution" isn't pretty ... Some Americans, however, are claiming that President Obama and his administration are "tyrants", and (in the words of failed Nevada Senatorial candidate Sharron Angle) "Second Amendment Solutions" might be needed ... Is she right? Or is she just "right-wing"? Inquiring minds want to know!

I never "worked " any system ! I started at the bottom and worked my way up and with seniority retired after 30 plus years ! So much for your "expert " opinion of the way unions work ! Typical republican , lies about being in a union to try and ad validity to its comments !

Tiredofit

Yea Munster you are quite the thinker. Thats why you have to work in a system that does not reward merit, only time spent there. Unions are a perfect fit for folks like you, repeat the socialist dogma and get paid the same as the laziest person in the shop, oh wait thats most likely YOU.

And No i never said the round would "blow limbs off" , all I said that because the round tumbles when it hits flesh it can do strange things like hit your finger and come out your nose ! And since you cant fully understand whats posted I'd say you the idiot !

Free, if you'll do even minimal research, the military has had issues with current ammo supplied in Iraq & Afghanistan. They've had to alter the weight of the rounds, as what was in the supply system simply wounded the enemy, rather than dispatching them to their promised virgins in paradise.

Yet you insist a 5.56 mm round is some kind of "explosive" round, that tears the victim's limbs off.

You keep insisting you're so smart? You certainly are NOT showing it! What, now you think channeling Freddie is going to make you sound logical?

You're still an idiot!

I think the darn groundhog maybe fibbed a little !

All I can tell you LTs is that in the initial work up for the m-16 and its 5.56 round there was a"cavity" left in the bullet to cause it to yaw or tumble, thereby making the wound cavity greater and the russians followed shortly with their own version !

btw munster...happy march to you! spring is almost here!

munster, you would be technically correct in that air would indeed occupy any cavity, unless of course a vacuum was induced at time of casting. then the amount of molecular air would be greatly reduced. this little back and forth indicates how much correct terminology affects an overall discussion.

Well you intrigued me so I have tried to remember where I saw that information but I'm thinking it was a show on the military channel !And how do you best describe a bullet with a cavity in the tip without calling it a hollow point ? I mean there is no outward sign of this !You can however find the 5.45x39 (russian) on wiki and it briefly explains the "spoon tip " !

munster, i do not fact check everything that you post. however, your claim about air in a bullet peaked my interest. i did not wish to imply you were mistaken. i just wanted to say that i could not find anything to substantiate your claim.

Munster

Well know I may have phrased it improperly because of the geneva convention its illegal to use "hollow points" so they left a cavity inside the bullets tip to cayse it to yaw excessively on contact ! That and the barrel twist caused the most damage on human flesh as possible ! Now have I been wrong on this subject matter lately LTS ??? The russians did almost the same thing with what they called the "spoon tip" !

luvthesouth & stickhauler

Is it possible that in the childish mind like Munster’s . . . Hollow Point Bullets are “air bubbles in bullets”?

LOL

luvthesouth

munster, i googled your "air" bullet and found nothing. i am aware of the shockwave bubble as a bullet enters at high velocity. this is commonly known as hydrostatic shock. either way, unless you throw a bullet at someone, chances are they are going to be injured or killed. but then again a high velocity baseball will yield similar results without penetration.
