The recent collapse of Rupert Murdoch's British taboid "News of the World" has rattled the NewsCorps CEO's empire that also includes FOX News. What effect might that have on the bogus claims of FOX to be a "fair and balanced" media source?

Murdoch's "News of the World" has been accused of sanctioning the hacking of (among others) families of 9-11 victims, the Royal family, private correspondence of former Briitish P.M. Gordon Brown, Brown's son's medical records, etc. Murdoch owns NewsCorps, FOX News, The N.Y. POST and other tv, radio, and online entities that claim to tell "truth" and claim to be "fair and balanced". What will certain right-inclined but gullible souls - like many who post here - do when their main source of "facts" is at last demonstrated to be nothing more than a bogus, partisan, propaganda-machine that habitually breaks the law in order to intentionally distort stories that shape the opinions and affect the lives of working-class Americans? What would George Orwell think?
