As a handicapped person it happens alot..You see teenagers or people in their 20s with a place card on their mirror...Then go skipping or running into the store..I agree with Darby..Anyone that parks in a handicap spot the fine should be $500.. But for the ones that use the place cards illegally it should be a fine plus jail time...I know people who has these place cards them give to relatives then go back to BMV and tell them theirs was lost

There should be at least $500 fine for that. That is about as low as people can get.

Yes and I know people who unlawfully use a handicap sticker. For example, driving a car with a handicap sticker and the handicap person isn't even in the car.

That's were the old cell phone comes into play. I call the local law and give them the location and the license number. Along with a fine the guilty parties should spend the next 30 days confined to a wheel chair to see what it is like to be handicapped.
