I liked the debate. I thought both candidates spoke well most of the time. I like Joe Biden and thought he did a good job of talking about real life things to people, but I thought Governor Palin spoke well too. She was confident and that was different from her interviews. But I will give a thin win to Joe Biden because he seemed more knowledgeable about issues that are important to people.

I'm insulted and embarrased as an educated american- this person is not qualified to lead a country -not this one anyway- she obviously is being coached/prepped on everything- reads from notes. The republicans should be ashamed- this is a ploy.

Palin simply regurgitated what she has been rigorously fed to her in preparation for this STAGED debate. If it were ALLOWED to take the cadidates OFF SUBJECT or asked to EXPAND on their statements, Palin would have been exposed as the unsure and backpedling woman you have seen with Katie Couric. And Since Biden ran the risk of inspiring sympathy votes, he did not attack of corner Palin as he would with a man or a shemale like Hillary So I give Biden a 7 for substance and a 9 for restraint And I give Palin a 3 for subsatnce and a 9 on the cuteness scale.
