Heritage Quilt Show set for Blennerhassett museum

PARKERSBURG — The 20th annual Heritage Quilt Show will be held Nov. 9-17 at the Blennerhassett Museum of Regional History, 137 Juliana St.

Show hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with admission to the museum including the show for $4 for adults and $2 for children ages 4-12.

The theme for this year’s show is “Patriotism.” At 1 p.m. Nov. 16 the program Quilts of Valor will be presented.

Categories include large quilts, small quilts, miniature quilts and antique quilts (not judged). Prizes will be awarded for Overall Best of Show, Best of Show-Hand Quilted, Best of Show-Machine Quilted-Manual, Best of Show Machine Quilted-Computerized, People’s Choice Award, Superintendent’s Choice Award and Best Theme Award.
