SE Ohio Foodbank hosts Holiday Food Distribution at NYHS
NELSONVILLE — The SE Ohio Foodbank, a program of Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP), will be distributing fresh produce, protein, and other shelf-stable food items at Nelsonville-York High School from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nov. 26.
Food items will be available to households who qualify for state benefits or with incomes under 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines. This distribution is open to residents of Athens, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Morgan, Perry, Vinton, and Washington counties.
To access food assistance, a photo I.D. and proof of residency no more than 60 days old is required. Pre-registration is not required for this event, and will be completed onsite.
