Marietta City Council will hold a Finance Committee meeting at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 23, in Room 10 of the Marietta Armory to have an executive session to discuss pending lawsuits.

There will also be a Planning, Zoning, Housing and Annexation Committee and Public Lands and Buildings Committee joint meeting 5:45 p.m. Sept. 23, in Room 20 of the Marietta Armory to discuss medical marijuana control, drug abuse control, adult use cannabis facilities or dispensaries, the voluntary withdrawal of the Hippodrome/Colony Historical Theatre Association from a Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Agreement between it and the city of Marietta, approving the continuation of the city’s CRA agreement with Perry & Associates Holdings, LLC, manufacturing and zoning classifications, and camping in parks and other city-owned property.

Council will also hold a Water and Sewer Committee meeting 6:15 p.m. Sept. 23, in Room 10 of the Marietta Armory to discuss sewer taps for residences outside city limits, annexation and fees.

They will also hold a Finance Committee meeting 5:15 p.m. Sept. 30, in Room 10 of the Marietta Armory. The topic for the meeting is still to be determined.

There will be an Employee Relations Committee meeting 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30, in Room 10 of the Marietta Armory to discuss merit pay and miscellaneous topics.
