Linda Ellen Pritchett

Linda Ellen Pritchett, 73 of Marietta, Ohio, went to be with the lord on September 1, 2024 peacefully in her home. She was born June 27, 1951 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Rex (Juanita) and Doris Barnhart Carpenter.

Linda was a retired switchboard operator at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She also worked in housekeeping. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, loved animals, going camping, and never missed a Marietta Sternwheel Festival. She was the sweetest person you would ever meet and she never met a stranger.

She was survived by her loving husband of 55 years, David Pritchett; four sons, Bradley, Todd (Jeannette), Larry, and Dustin (Nakia); One daughter in law, Sunni; eight grandchildren, Christa, Kyle, Lakyn, Tyler Dean, Marissa (Derrick), Christopher (Tiffany), Tyler Michelle, and Brian; many great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dear best friend Susan Lang.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, step mother, and in laws, Eli and Ethel Pritchett; two brothers, Larry and David Carpenter; one son, Christopher; and grandsons, baby Eli Pritchett and Gary (Scooter) Davis.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 6, 2024 at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV. Burial will follow in the Barker Cemetery in Newport, Ohio. Friends may call from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
