Medication Take Back Day
Medication Take Back Day will be held Saturday October 26th, 2024, 10 a.m-2 p.m., hosted by the Marietta Police Dept. This year’s event will be held in front of The Marietta Police Department, 301 Putnam St.
This is an opportunity to dispose of unused, expired and/or unwanted medication. Medications can be dropped off anonymously, no questions asked. You do not have to remove labels from bottles and we will accept any and all medications. Syringes must be in sharps containers or coffee cans.
Why turn in your unused medications? Drugs can be stolen and sold illegally, children and pets could be poisoned if they find and swallow drugs and unused medications are environmental toxins, as flushing them down the toilet or sink can contaminate our water and soil.
