Marietta High School will have Tim Fleming serve as the interim principal for the remainder of the 2024 – 2025 school year.

Fleming is the director of curriculum and technology for Marietta City Schools. Fleming will move his office to MHS to assist the other members of the administrative team for the remainder of the year.

“We can think of no better fit to support our staff and students over the course of this school year,” said Superintendent Brad Silvus. “Tim’s extremely focused on continuing to improve this district, he understands our vision of ‘Every Student, Every Day,’ and he fully embraces it.”

Fleming will still continue his duties as director of curriculum and technology, but will have others from the administration office to help him with some of his day-to-day work so he can put the majority of his focus on MHS.

“I’m excited to get the opportunity to work even closer with an incredible group of students and staff members at the high school,” said Fleming. “We’ve made some impressive strides at MHS the last several years and I think we will continue to build upon that foundation for the 24-25 school year.”

Starting at $2.99/week.
